Back to Rouen ...

 To all those of you who sponsored me by coming to the  Games quiz theme evenings : a big

I raised 230  euros which will shortly paid to Cancer research UK .

   Sadly it is  soon coming to the end of the ABC Cellar  Year now .. It's been a year full of Highs  (and  a few lows of course ) but what is CERTAIN  is that you've  all helped  me make my life , fitter, funnier, healthier, happier and fuller  with your friendship and confidence in me  

 with great new moments in my life to come  with you all I hope by my side ...
 It's been a great pleasure for me to be "working" with you all  and I hope you also feel I've helped YOU progress in a little way in confidence in yourselves too in English...


  So I can certainly  look forward to September with a " YES I DO , I CAN, I WILL  and a lighter heart and spring in my Step ready for A  new  BIG  Chapter in my life and the next 50 years !

and another  Cancer Race in Rouen in October where i hope you will join me ... ?

Who says it rains cats and dogs in England ??

  The  fast walk race is over and possibly in  GREAT RECORD TIME . .. or possibly I've been walking much further than i thought every day to practice  ... 

 I MUST check my pedometer  .. but here is proof ..with my medal ( round my neck , not beside me !;)

  so much for your support !  I raised 240 euros  thanks to your participation which i will  transfer into  £s of course .Now I just have to do the race on sunday
 My  pink tee shirt and shoes are in my suitcase and I'm ready to go !!

The second Quiz night in aid of cancer

 will be held on Tuesday 2nd June at 8pm at the cellar . Remember all  cash support is welcome , even if you can't come . Today i did my best walk time ever in the rain so i'm more confident for next week's  race .
  There are a couple of  places left . ( only 2 men so far ).. so as always the more the merrier .. but only English spoken of course !

 Make new friends, have fun and support a very  good cause .

 To those Gentlemen and ladies   who supported me on my first "CANCER RACE" QUIZ Night .  I'm happy to say  I  have raised 150 euros  so far  all for research into cancer ...
 It was a great evening ..  fun , laughter and English Knowledge ! Thank you !

 I will be up tomorrow morning to start my day with my 5km walk as usual and try to break my record  ..

Film selection and Cancer quiz nights

  The ABC   " This is ENGLAND" Film selection evenings are coming to a close , with choices to be made  very soon . Two or Three films stand out as fitting the ABC member selection category . A final showing we be held shortly to make a  definitive choice .

 There are still a few places for the ABC  quiz nights end of  27th May and 2nd  june before my cancer
